Time is flying by......

Can you believe it that it is only one week till Christmas! Time is just flying by. I have been to both kids concerts at school. This is Andrew kindergarten class singing Andrew is in the red shirt with the stripe in the middle. He did a wonderful job! Now the next picture is Erika, sorry that it is a dark picture, but I was having trouble with the lighting at her school.I did video them singing there song, but could not get a good picture of her on the stage. I have been working on some new templates. Just need to fine the time to finish them. They might not get finish till after Christmas. I guess I better get moving, making some Christmas cookies today! A Snowy day!

We are having Snowy day today. I went outside and took a few pictures. The snow was blowing, everything was white. Christmas is in the air!

A Fluffy Cranberry Chesse Pie

This is one of my favorite pies this time of year... Cranberry Topping
1 package ( 3oz) raspberry gelatin 1/3 cup sugar 1 1/4 cups cranberry juice 1 can (8 oz) jellied cranberry sauce Filling
1 package (3oz) cream cheese, softened 1/4 cup sugar 1 Tablespoon milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup whipped topping 1 pastry shell (9in) baked

In a mixing bowl, combine gelatin and sugar; set aside. In a saucepan, bring cranberry juice to a boil. Remove from the heat and pour over gelatin mixture, stirring to dissolve. Stir in the cranberry sauce. Chill until slightly thickened. Meanwhile, in another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar milk and vanilla until fluffy. Fold in the whipped topping. Spread evenly into pie shell. Beat cranbery topping until frothy; pour over filling Chill overnight. I will be making this later today so when I get it ready I will post a picture then. It is a pie I like to make around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Enjoy!!

Busy Week!!

It has been a very busy week. I am in a craft show this Sat and well I been working on getting some stuff done. I have this basket full of cute snowman letters to santa ornies.....

Two totes full of Raggedy Annies, Snowman.......... More Snowman ornies.... they look so cute all stuff in the basket! I think I have a Snowman theme going on. Even my Raggedy Annies have snowman dresses. I wanted to do a Santa but never could find the one I really wanted to do and then I just ran out of time. Maybe I will do one still. I hope I have a good day tommorrow and I will try to remember and take my camera to show you some pics.

First Snow

We had our first snow this morning.

It was not very much but there is something about that first snow that excites you. I was the only one up and I went outside to enjoy the first snow fall.

What I love the most is the quietness of the morning.

Winter has paid us a visit and I am sure there will be many more.

It has been another nice day here today! But what made it extra special is I belong to a group of fine ladies on Ebay- PLOA-Prim Ladies of America. We have this posting contest going on right now and I have won for the 2nd time. this time the item was given by from Chris-theantiquepallet She is such a wondeful person and so talented. If ever you get a chance to buy one of her items you will love it!! The first time I won a item donated by Annie-oldeannieprimitives These wonderful fall leaves. She does such nice work. Go check out all her items out. You will love it. So thats my day.

Things I have been doing......... Well the kids have been off of school the last couple of days and so we have been hangin out together. That was the picture yesterday.. with winter coats Today so much better , its in the 60's and outside is fun Erika trying to make a basket...... Andrew wondering whats wrong...... Erika trying to jump rope in the wind.... Just a fun day (really fun when your off of School!!) My crafting and templates kinda got put to the side today :)

Some new Christmas tucks!! This is something I did get finished and I have them listed on Ebay starting at $5.99 I really like the the pictures on these I think I will make me my own set.

What did I do today, worked on some more graphics... and then had some fun with my 5 year old. We made cookies soooooooo good.......... Oh they taste so good and when my 8 year old and hubby get home I am sure they will go fast. I have not made fresh chocolate chip cookies in a long time and so we will all enjoy them!!

Some New Graphics

I purchase my Commericial License from Shweet Potato Designs. There are some very cute graphics on Carmens site and I hope to purchase more. I worked with one the last couple of days (nights really, when kids are sleeping) and here is what it looks like...... I have a few more in the works and hope to get them done soon. I have always been interested in computers and I finally have had the chance to learn. I am proud of myself and I thank God for helping me along the way. There is a story I need to tell and I am working on it. Working it out in my head. Not sure if I will ever tell it here but maybe I need

My front window, and New Raggedy

This is what I look out to in my front window, this beautiful orange tree!! Even though the sun is not shining today it is still so bright and orange. Fall has the best colors!! Well I did get one Raggedy done from my last post. This is my Thanksgiving Raggedy Ann/ Fall Blessings She turned out so cute with her blonde hair and pony tails, wearing a really cute turkey print fabric dress. She is a nice size Annie 20" and sits so nicely. I will be listing her on Ebay! Now on to some more Christmas items!! Colleen

Items I am working on

Hi everyone. It is Friday and I thought I would have one of these items done by now. So I could list one on the weekend on Ebay but it has been a busy week. I do not know what happened to today. I had a hour maybe from 8am to 9am to work on these sad looking dolls. One needs hair the other has a mop going on and neither is wearing any clothes. I do have a thanksgiving dress for the blonde doll and the other is going to be wearing a christmas dress. They just look so funny sitting on my table right now.. This is a cute stitchery I did up for Christmas. I am just not sure if I am done with it yet. I was going to make a wire hanger for it but not sure......... can't make up my mind. I did get to go to lunch with a special guy today... Andrew This is my baby, he is five years old and they had a special lunch at his school today. We had a nice time. After our lunch together we both went and visited my Mom. Thats one of Andrew favorite places to go. Maybe I will get a chance to work on those sad looking dolls tomorrow......maybe.

Hi everyone! I keep trying to post more but so far no luck....I am really going to work on that. I also work on other blogs but I starting to feel this is the one I should work on. I worked on a christmas raggedy ann and got it finished...... I started working on some snowman ornies...and more I have been doing some stitching, candle mats, pillows, stuff like that and I am really been enjoying it. I have a few of the candle mats listed on Ebay right now. I like to keep my hands busy.

Fall is in the Air!! It has cooled down here and the kids are back at school so it really feels like fall. I like the colors of fall, oranges, reds, browns, just as long as the snow stays away for along time!! I have been working on new fall items, templates and alittle of christmas. These are one of my favorites and planning to make more........ I love this Pumpkin Doll....... Candle mats are so much fun, when I stitch I feel so relaxed. I am enjoying making these....... These I did up , they will be a winning prize in my PLOA group on Ebay, they are a great group of ladies...... My templates have been fun so far...... This one it called White Christmas Annies and Gingerbread Best Wishes and Happy Christmas Snowkids in Window/Blessings Thats just some of my templates, and working on some more vintage Santas, and kids.
