Wedding , back to work on dolls

 I have been pretty busy with wedding plans, summer vacation, kids  but I tried to sew when I could (which was not much lately).  These dolls and more have been SLOWLY getting done. 
I even have some witches going.  It feels good to sew and create again.
Summer is speeding by. Kids are enjoying the days.    Hopefully I won't take to long to post the next time.

I can't believe it has been over a month since my last post.  Time is just flying by!
I have been busy with the normal everyday things, planting flowers and a garden,  and helping my daughter with her wedding, which is coming up fast....June 16th.    I have tried to sew some and I am working on dolls but it is just taking me longer.  Hopefully I will get back into the grove soon.

found those dolls...

I found those dolls that I mentioned in my earlier post today and two are done. I just love making these dolls. This first  Annie is all ready for summer and summer picnics. Her skirt is a cute ant print.

Just reminds me of summer and all the fun picnics.

Not sure what I will call this Annie. I just loved the fabric with the cute birds and this is the first ever Annie doll I did with pink hair.

I purchased the yarn over a year ago but just never found the right doll until now.

Our forcast for tonight is calling for 2 to 6 inches of snow. And right now those big huge white snowflakes are coming down.....:(       I might have to take some pictures but I would prefer to be taking pictures of my spring flowers.

This blog background and banner have been in the works for awhile,  work on it , save it, work on it, save it and then just sat on my desktop for awhile....lol

Lots of changes for me this year, so I am changing my blog too.

Circle of life...

April 5th 2012 will be always celebrated for 2 special people in my life.
First it is when my 2nd beautiful granddaughter was born. Me and Emily Jeanne, first time holding her ....:)

And I will always remember the second person, my wonderful brother- in -law Dennis.

He went home to heaven to be with our Lord. I will always celebrate his life on Emily's birthday! One came into the family and one went home...THE CIRCLE OF LIFE.

Back to sewing... :)

I started sewing again this week and it feels good. These dolls I started them awhile back and I just needed to sew their hair on and give them dresses. This is the first time I did Annie bag holders and they were fun to do. This first one is in her patriotic dress

This second Annie I call it gingerbread annie. Her apron is a cute gingerbread print and I love gingerbread. I have them decorating my kitchen all year long!
