Circle of life...

April 5th 2012 will be always celebrated for 2 special people in my life.
First it is when my 2nd beautiful granddaughter was born. Me and Emily Jeanne, first time holding her ....:)

He went home to heaven to be with our Lord. I will always celebrate his life on Emily's birthday! One came into the family and one went home...THE CIRCLE OF LIFE.

New dolls ....

Back to sewing... :)

I started sewing again this week and it feels good. These dolls I started them awhile back and I just needed to sew their hair on and give them dresses. This is the first time I did Annie bag holders and they were fun to do. This first one is in her patriotic dress

This second Annie I call it gingerbread annie. Her apron is a cute gingerbread print and I love gingerbread. I have them decorating my kitchen all year long!

New Annie Bunnies and winter has returned!!

Hi everyone, life is keeping me busy. But I have tried to sew a little each day. Just finished up my Annie Bunnies

They make me think of spring. 

But spring is not what we are getting tonight.  We are having a major snow storm tonight. Could be up to 13 inches.   I just opened my back door and snapped a picture quick,  in the morning I will take some more

Kids are hoping a Snow Day is in the near future..... :)

Dolls, Dolls and dolls

These dolls have kept me busy all week.  Some are St Patricks day, Easter, spring and a couple are everyday.

This is a new one that I did , she stand alone and I have "faith " on her apron.

Another new kind of Annie, she is "Hope"

I will be listing some on Etsy and some will be shipped to there new home tomorrow.

Cold weekend.....creating new dolls

It is a cold weekend here in Wisconsin.  A good one to stay indoors and create.  I have a pile of dolls that I am working on, these are some of the ones I finished up.This one is going to get shipped out tomorrow.

  It was a special order for a wonderful new friend.  She has a Etsy shop called the

floweringangel    Click on her name and go check  out her shop.  Her items are beautiful.   She has also started up a new blog and I am sure she would love some new followers... here is her link http://floweringangel.blogspot.com I am making spring dolls and I wanted to try a bunny for a raggedy ann doll. This is what I came up with. She is all ready for Spring. Then I did up these mini raggedy dolls too.  They are only 5 inches. They could be tucked in just about anywhere.  You could tuck them into another dolly's arms to hold. Put them on a wreath, anywhere you have a small place. I love how mini and cute they are.   Guess I have to do some up in spring dresses!! As I sit and create these dolls my 11 year old daughter Erika, joins in with her own creating. These days she is into duck tape.   She is making wallets... This one for me...  These are hers, a wallet and she is trying ipod cases out too.   She is not sure if she likes her first attempt at the ipod cases, she is going to try it a different way she tells me.  She also did a wallet with the splash paint for a friend at school but it got away without a picture taken.....lol So that has been the weekend around here. Fun and relaxing.

Oh have I missed doing new backgrounds.  I just have not been able to sit at the computer long enough these days but this Sunday I found some time...and it feels wonderful.I have been wanting to change mine for awhile and this is what I came up with today.
