GOIN JUNKIN

I went junkin last week with my daughter and found these cute items.... She can home for the day and we really had a good time. We went junkin, clothes shopping, and had lunch together. I enjoyed the day with her. This cake holder is my favorite find... I love the pink color! There was only one of these but I love the stencil design. I think I will use it on my old trunk with some candles. Maybe I will use it in one of my crafts too. Not sure yet. If you have any ideals please leave me a comment. I love to hear from you. And the last item is this table cloth... It is a smaller table cloth ,it will fit on my card table perfect, or even angle it on my dinning room table. When I place one on the table it just makes the room look so nice. I love to pick up ones like this one the is hand stitched. Do you like table cloths as much as I do? I have even start picking up aprons. Now that is a whole new post!! Till next time.... Colleen

It Takes Courage...

I have not been able to post much these days ...been busy with kids and family. Have my listings still on ebay and working on some new templates but slow going there... I will leave you with this poem. I found it awhile back and I really like what it says..... It Takes Courage
To be of HEART
To let go of FEAR
Not to be afraid to see and speak the truth
To let love be your driving force, not anger
To live life as everything is a miracle
To see uniqueness, beauty & perfection in our children
Remember: The journey of a thousand miles begins with ONE STEP (that is today!)

This past week!

Can't believe a week has gone by since I last posted. Time just flys by. I have been busy with kids, homework, designing some new templates ..like this one A couple of cute raggedy templates too... like this one I am also sewing up some raggedy dolls, and doing some hand stitchery. I am loving the hand stitching. I always find it relaxing. When I have it finished I will take a picture to share. Till next time, Colleen

Last Snowman of the year! ( I hope!!)

Well, instead of working on a new raggedy doll I have been working on, I went outside with my kids and together we made a snowman. I am really hoping this will be our last snowman, but living in northcentral Wisconsin it might not be. It's a warm day here - 43 degrees or so , so the snow was great for rolling snowballs and just having fun together. Look at all the dirty snow in the background. When it starts to melt away it is always so yucky looking. A good rain would be nice but I think they are calling for cold again next week so it would be more snow not rain. After a couple of hours of outside fun, I surrendered to the house. A cup of tea hit the spot! The kids stayed out for more. Now maybe I will stuff dollys arms and legs .......... Till next time Colleen
