Some new graphics

I guess you can say I have some extra time ... not really but I missed working with some graphics, designing new buttons and a background. Here are some new buttons I did to share with you all... Just right click and save them to your computer. I will post the new background template I am using tomorrow.

Merry Christmas

In those days a decree went out from Emperor Augustus that all the world should be registered. All went to their own towns to be registered. In that region there were shepherds living in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. Then an angel of the Lord stood before them , and the glory of the Lord shone around them. The angel said to them " Do not be afraid; for see I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a child wrapped swaddlding cloth and lying in a manger," And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying " Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace on those on whom his favor rests!" A package came today

When going to get the mail today, I found a package by my mailbox. It was from Cyndy over at Crafty Stitchers blog . I had won the first of their 12 days of christmas giveaway.I was excited to get into the house and open it up . Here is the cute Annie ornie I won... She is so adorable! One Christmas program ...one more to go

I can't believe that christmas is almost here. Been busy cleaning up some of the crafting mess that was all over the house , christmas cards, trying to keep up on all the things happening with the kids at school, and all the day to day things . Andrew had his school christmas program and it was nice to sit and watch . I could just relax and enjoy it. Andrew is the second boy , with the dark "Mario" shirt on. It is fun to watch these kids really get into singing the songs. I was the only one able to attend Andrew's program this year but we all will be attending Erika's next week. I hope you all are enjoying the days up to Christmas. Colleen

My aches and pains feel so much better...

I received my rice bag that I won over at Sewing Grandma Lynn's blog.

And I am using it as I am writing this post. It feels so good! My neck and shoulders have been aching me all day and the warm rice bag feels good tonight. A Blanket of White.... and keep posting for my Giveaway

We woke up to a blanket of white snow, and it has been snowing all day. Here are a few pictures of our winter wonderland today. A few month back this was my garden and my blackberry patch that gave me tons of sweet blackberries this year. Just thinking about them I wish I could walk out there a pick one right now. I am feeling so lucky.....

Today has been full of nice surprises.....Early this morning I checked my email and I received a email for Lynn from sewinggrandmalynn that I had won her giveaway. I was so happy to have won because it is cold here in Wisconsin and one of Lynn rice bags warmed up on a cold evening will be so nice. :) Then early evening I was catching up on some of my favorite blogs and when doing so I learned that I won yesterday on CRAFTY STITCHERS blog give away. I was the winner of their first item, a cute Annie ornie, on their Twelve Days of Christmas Give-away. Please go visit these ladies wonderful blogs. 29 years and counting

Today is my wedding Aniversay. It is our 29th. Hard to believe that many years already. I hope for many many more...

Hi....been busy with family matters

Hi everyone. Just a short post today. I have been busy but not with crafting or Christmas stuff.... lots of family issues. My sister had surgery on Tue, it went well and now its 6 weeks of recovery. I have 2 sisters and the 3 of us take care of our Mom. The sister that had the surgery on Tue does a lot with my Mom and now me and my other sister are taking full time with Mom. My Mom has issues of memory and does not cook and all the other things you do each day. My Mother will also be having surgery on Jan 4th for breast cancer. And last but not least my dear sweet Mother in law is having health problems and is back in the hospital for the 3rd time. There has been one wonderful blessing from God, my sister that had the surgery caught her cancer early and it looks like a good out come for her. Thank you God!! I have one sweet picture to share, last Saturday Grandpa and Grandma got to watch our dear sweet granddaughter Rachel. She was not to sure about going to sleep at Grandma and Grandpa's so Grandpa held her and cuddle with her till she went to sleep!! I will be having a giveaway coming up this week , so watch for it!
