A Blanket of White.... and keep posting for my Giveaway

We woke up to a blanket of white snow, and it has been snowing all day. Here are a few pictures of our winter wonderland today. A few month back this was my garden and my blackberry patch that gave me tons of sweet blackberries this year. Just thinking about them I wish I could walk out there a pick one right now. I am feeling so lucky.....

Today has been full of nice surprises.....Early this morning I checked my email and I received a email for Lynn from sewinggrandmalynn that I had won her giveaway. I was so happy to have won because it is cold here in Wisconsin and one of Lynn rice bags warmed up on a cold evening will be so nice. :) Then early evening I was catching up on some of my favorite blogs and when doing so I learned that I won yesterday on CRAFTY STITCHERS blog give away. I was the winner of their first item, a cute Annie ornie, on their Twelve Days of Christmas Give-away. Please go visit these ladies wonderful blogs. 29 years and counting

Today is my wedding Aniversay. It is our 29th. Hard to believe that many years already. I hope for many many more...

Hi....been busy with family matters

Hi everyone. Just a short post today. I have been busy but not with crafting or Christmas stuff.... lots of family issues. My sister had surgery on Tue, it went well and now its 6 weeks of recovery. I have 2 sisters and the 3 of us take care of our Mom. The sister that had the surgery on Tue does a lot with my Mom and now me and my other sister are taking full time with Mom. My Mom has issues of memory and does not cook and all the other things you do each day. My Mother will also be having surgery on Jan 4th for breast cancer. And last but not least my dear sweet Mother in law is having health problems and is back in the hospital for the 3rd time. There has been one wonderful blessing from God, my sister that had the surgery caught her cancer early and it looks like a good out come for her. Thank you God!! I have one sweet picture to share, last Saturday Grandpa and Grandma got to watch our dear sweet granddaughter Rachel. She was not to sure about going to sleep at Grandma and Grandpa's so Grandpa held her and cuddle with her till she went to sleep!! I will be having a giveaway coming up this week , so watch for it!

Happy Thanksgiving! I wish you all a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving day. I am thankful for the family and friends I will be sharing good food with today. I will be missing my oldest son and his family but I am thankful for all the love and joy they bring to my life. I am thankful for God's love and giving me many many blessings in my life. Enjoy the day!

My days have been filled with sewing , sewing and sewing. These are just a few of what I have been working on.. I am having a Christmas open house on Nov 21st. So I will be super busy this up coming week. Now I am off to my Mom's house to help her out and then it is back to sewing! Colleen

Christmas Angel Dolls ....and my halloween

My Christmas Craft shows starts today and goes till Nov 17th. I will be adding new stuff each week. You can find a link to it over on the right side bar. I have been wanting to post all week after halloween but time is flying by. I finished these Christmas Angel Dolls yesterday. This one has a red cardnial print dress.. And this one is a white with a christmas print on it... I think everyone one needs angel watching over them! I will be listing them on my Christmas Craft show or on Etsy. The past weekend was really nice and the kids enjoyed halloween. We carved pumpkins Friday night. Then on Sunday we went down to my oldest house and let them trick or treat there. This is my Minnie Mouse.. And my Taco Bell worker My little Grandaughter was a cute ladybug Now it is back to work. Be back soon with some gingerbreadmen that I have about finished. Colleen
